5 Turkish Delight Recipes You Can Do at Home

The name of the historical taste that reaches the houses from the palaces: Turkish delight
Sometimes we take a look at our double delicacies, sometimes with a smile, sometimes with a chocolate covered cones, and we try to practice in our own kitchens!

1.  Simple Turkish Delight Recipe:

1 kg of powdered sugar
Half a liter of water
1 YK lemon juice
1 SB starch
Half a teaspoon of water
2 gr cream tartar
To find out:

1/2 SB starch
1 SB powder sugar
Get the powdered sugar and water in the pot. Add the lemon juice to the boil until the sugar melts. Continue to boil until lightly dark. Get the foam on it. Beat a glass of starch and half a glass of water in a bowl. Add boiling water gradually and stirring constantly. Add a cream scoop and boil it until it is pasty. Lubricate a high-sided tray. Pour the Turkish delight into the pan and let it cool. Mix plain starch with powdered sugar and starch. Take the lokum by turning the tray over. Cut into strips with two finger thicknesses. Pull the strips thoroughly into the powdered sugar and cut the cube. Pour the delights you prepared into powdered sugar again and keep in the fridge.

2 . Kokos Turkish Delight

Kokoş Turkish Delight Recipe

For the pudding:

1 liter milk
130 gr flour
1/2 SB powder sugar
1 packet of vanilla
50 gr margarine
To find out:

Coconut rind
To prepare the pudding, milk, powdered sugar and flour are taken from the pot and whipped with whisk to obtain a smooth mixture. We grind the resulting mixture on the oven to a thick consistency, stirring constantly. We add vanilla and margarine in the dark and mix it. We flap for 10 minutes with the help of a fried custard mixer. Whipped hot pudding, we immediately fill in glasses that have been soaked with water. After we have cooled down in the room heat, the custards we have filled in the glasses are covered with stretch film and raised in the fridge. Keep in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Then remove the cups from the refrigerator and cut through the edges with a thin knife to allow air to escape. We cut it as we want and serve it with coconut pie.

3 . Marmalade Turkish delight

1 liter milk
1,5 SB powdered sugar
2 SB’s
100 gr margarine
2 packets of vanillin
For the above:

Coconut with 3 SB
5 YK molasses
A medium size pan is made of materials other than margarine and vanillin and is constantly blended so as not to clump in the middle of the fire. After boiling, the vanillin and margarine are thrown off, and the margarine is constantly whipped to provide erimes. The coconut is distributed in such a way that there is no space under the oven tray. Prepared on the pudding and top spoon is flattened. The pudding is kept in the fridge overnight.
The pudding is removed from the refrigerator and divided into small pieces with knife. The pieces are rolled in the palm of the coconut and served with a piece of molasses.

4 . Turkish Delight with Pistachio

Turkish Delight Recipe with Pistachio

3 SB milk
7 YK semolina
5 YK powder sugar
1 packet of pistachio pistachio
1 YK butter
1 packet of vanilla
3 YK powder pistachios
Put the pans of milk, powdered sugar, walnuts, pistachio pudding and cook over medium heat. When it starts to boil, add butter, vanilla and boil for 1-2 minutes. Then add the powdered pistachio nuts, mix and cool. We wet our hands and turn the cooled mortar into walnut sized balls. Let’s rest for 2 hours in the fridge.

5 . Turkish Delight with Roses

Turkish Delight Recipe with Roses

1 SB starch
1.5 SB sugar
2 drops red food coloring
4 SB cold water
1/4 SB rose water
We take the starch and add sugar on it. We add cold water and pour cold water. We mix slowly. Finally we add rosewater and put a quarry. We mix it up until the middle is constantly stirring and a dark pudding is made. We spend a rectangular amount of my debt on water. We pour into the darkened pudding. We keep it cold in the fridge for 2-3 hours. When serving, we mix 1 sweet spoon powder sugar and 1 sweet spoon starch and sprinkle on the strainer. We serve by slicing.
