Cappadocia is undoubtedly one of the most interesting points of Turkey. Cappadocia Turkey is located in the Central Anatolia Region of the country and is famous for its unique natural shapes. These shapes are called fairy chums. The fairy chimneys, which carry the fragrance of history and have interesting shapes, attract many visitors from all over the world. Since Turkey’s Cappadocia region is so famous all over the world, it is inevitable to organize various festivals and events throughout the year. This year, in 2017, Cappadocia organizes the biggest festival that it has organized so far. The Cappadox festival is launching entertainment from May 18th to May 21st to visit the future from all over the world.

This year’s theme for the Cappadox festival is “ways to get out of the world.” One of the fascinating points of the festival is the use of sundials throughout the festival. This means that you will not control your watch anyhow during the festival. The only time you are connected is the concept of time; Music and sunlight. Along with the first lights of the sun, music and entertainment will start throughout the festival. On the first day of the Cappadox festival, the music will continue in the “Red Valley(Kızıl Vadi)” area, one of the most beautiful sunset views in the world. Surprises are not limited to that. Many musicians meet people from all over the country for the festival to be very popular. Throughout the event, the music will never stop, and at the end of each day the concerts will be performed in the most famous valleys of the region. These concerts in the Cappadox festival were named “Nature concerts”.

During the Cappadox festival, visitors will be accompanied by Mustafa Otar, one of the master names of Turkish Cuisine. We think that visitors will learn how to make delicious food, especially by natural means. Also, Mustafa Otar will tell about the preparation of traditional dishes. Of course, as a participant you will also be able to instantly enjoy the purely natural food prepared here. If you want to learn great recipes in nature, real wood fire, we recommend you not to miss this festival. However, we must inform you that you are gathering materials for your dishes with your own hands from nature. This is why we advise you to be prepared for long nature walks.

In Cappadocia, the Cappadox festival will have many activities, as well as nature activities, concerts and food programs. After strolling through Cappadocia’s unique natural fairy chairs, you can spend your day’s tired looking at traditional Turkish cuisine. Immediately after the meal, you can enjoy the concerts of foreign and local singers. Local and foreign musicians included in the Cappodox festival: Rhye, Ilhan Erşain, Acieanvs Orientalis, Dead Combo, Lars Danielsons, Kalben, Yasemine Hamdan, Erdal Erzincan, Emma Shapplin, Mercan Dede, Acid Pauli and many other famous names. Of course during the festival, one of the most important events is the valley trips. Within the borders of Cappadocia Turkey there are unusual valleys that have survived for thousands of years without perishable fairy chimneys. A wide range of walks will be held every day of the festival. At the same time you can greet the sun with yoga and meditation activities led by professional names as you start the day. Lastly, we would like to say that the main sponsorship of the Cappodox festival is the supremacy of the Volkswagen brand. If you are interested in participating in this activity, we ask you to share your experiences in the field of comment.

The official organization that carries out ticket sales for the festival is Biletix. You can buy Cappadox 2017 tickets by clicking on this link. (Click here)
