Belgrad Forest – Neşet Water
Neşet water is an important excursion area established around a fresh water source. The name comes from Profesor Neşet (1881 – 1929), who contributed greatly to the improvement of the Belgrad Forest. This area is populer with locals of Istanbul all year round due to the ease of transport and its location in the center of the Belgrad Forest. In addition to the spring water, there is an eight kilometer ring around the reservoir of Büyükbent, which forms an ideal place to walk, as well as picnic areas, a cafeteria and a carpark. The Neşet Waters Excurcision are is used by sports clubs for cross-country running and training programs. It is also with its rich flora and fauna.
Getting here: Fallow signposts to the Belgrad Forest from Levent, Maslak, Bahçeköy or Kemerburgaz. From both directions, one can reach Neşet Water after driving three kilometers along an asphalt road.

Irmak (River) Excursion Area
Irmak Excursion Area is an important location that consists of enormous trees that give the area a great variety of color and fresh air. ımmediately at the entrance are tables that have been carefully set up and places suitable for picnics. The clarity of the water and the clean environment immediately noticable. The track starting from Neşet Suyu goes through the excursion area. The paths take you into the depths of the forest. The area appeals to a wide range of visitors, mainly families or large groups, especially at the weekend.
Getting here: From the sign at the Maslak- Bahçeköy entrance, you need to turn right. At the end of the four kilometer-long road, another signpost greets you, From the Kemerburgaz destination, you turn right. The excursion area is reached after the Binbaşı and Fatih Fountains.
