This area is part of the natural heritage of Kanlıca, which has witnessed all the colors of Istanbul . The excursion area is situated on a hill that dominates the Bosphorus. It hosts a wide range of trees, such as pines, redbuds, plane trees and cypresses. Particularly in the spring it is a special pleasure to wander among the beautiful flowers here. The region, alon with the pavilion at the wharf, which belonged to Sultan Abdulhamid I, was donated by Necibe Hanım, the wife of the Ambassador to Germany, Sadullah Pasha to Rukiye Hanım as part of her dowry. The princess then had the pavilion rebuilt in its current state. This park is frequented by a large number of the space (200 acres), the sitting areas, the buffet, the rececourse, playground, and other sections.
Getting here: Mihrabad Excursion area can either be reached from the coast (Kanlica direction) or or from Kavacik Tekke Region via TEM connection road.
