Turkish coffee is one of the most special coffee in the world. This is also very important for Turkish culture. Turkish coffee is name of the method, “Tuskish coffe recipe” and its special taste for Turks. The coffee has its own amazing, taste, small, recipe, cooking, treat that they shows its own special identity. Turkish coffee is only coffee service with its coffee grounds in the world and it is other feature which makes it special around of the world.

Accordind to researcher, the orign of coffe dates back 14th century and it has spreaded from South Africa to world. There is a word in Africa it is like coffee. The word is known as “kaffa.” The researchers says; the coffee word comes from the “kaffa.” First time of the coffee, Arabs have boiled the coffe berry and they made the this drink. After than, When Turks have reached to Arabian peninsula, this coffee met the speacial cooking method of Ottoman Empire. So, This is why we call it “Turkish coffee.” The Turks transported the coffee to European side of the world and European people loved it. Turkish coffee is one of the most sell coffe kind of world.

Do  you want to make Turkish coffee? You will need to know speacial tecniques for this. So, How to make a good coffe at home?

Materials

-clean water.

– high quality coffee bean (better if it comes from Brezil or Africa)

– coal fire (you must coooking it slowly)

-coffe pot and cup

– Sugar (If you want ot use)

Preparation of Coffee

First of all, you have to braised the coffee beans on a coal fire slowly. After this take the coffee beans from coal fire and grind them all as thin as you can. After these operations, put the coffee beans in a coffe pot and add to some clean water. (If you want, also you can add some sugar.) Two tea spoon of coffee is enough to make a good Turkish coffee for one coffee pot. And than you should cooking it slowly. After 15 minutes you can serve it.

There is a tradition about this coffee in Turkey. If think serve to your guest it, you must serve it with a glass of water. If the guest first drink to the water, He/she doesn’t want to coffe, but he/she didn’t drink the water this means  he/she want to drink Turkish coffee with you. You can also add the Turkish delight on your service. Turkish cofee and Turkish delight were be good friends during the Ottoman period.

Note: Before you serve the coffee you have to wait for a short time for its coffee grounds have to collapse to deep of the Turkish coffe cup.
