The tourist who they come to our Istanbul or another city of Turkey. The people who are from foreign countries asked to us too many things about this country. Unfortunately this questions are nonsense. They don’t know Turkey or They have  too much prejudice for Turkey. For this reason, Today we’ll write a publicity article for you. We’ll try to break your prejiduce about Turkey. Let’s start. Here we are, most asked questions about Turkey and anwers of them.

1 . You speak Arabic, don’t you?

No! No! No! We have our own language,  and we speak Turkish. We can say prime minister of the prejudice about Turkey for this words. But, you should know; Turkish is very rich language –its origin comes from very old periods of world- and you can find the words in Turkish that they comes From Arabic.  Actually, for speak and writing the origin Turkish is  enough. But people, sometimes use Arabic words because this is their culture that comes from Ottoman period.

 

2 . All of you are Belly Dancer, aren’t you?

Actually, It is true!.. We are doing belly dance during to  whole day, even when we are in our jobs, toilet and more!.. You think, it makes sense? If this is true, every citizen of Brazil must be perfect football player or every citizen of Italy can cook amazing lasagna. Anyway, Ofcourse this is not true, but still we have incredible belly dancers.

 

3 . We thought,  Whole Turkey love to Turkey so much!

4 .  Istanbul is you capital city, isn’t it?

What?.. I hope, it is just a joke… I think,  it is not. The answer is ofcourse NO! You think, it makes sense? Is this possible in the world? (This part special for ladies, or dosen’t matter you can be gay or whatever..) You can find amazing handsome men in Turkey.

 

6 . Are you living in a desert? And you use to Camels for travel?

7 . Still Is there a Sultan for dominated to country?

8 . When you cross over the Bosphorus Bridge, do you need a passport for every time?

Yeah, I understand you.. Istanbul is a uniqe with its location for the world. The only city is like a bridge between Asia and Europe and this makes it unique. But, Ofcourse we don’t use a passport for cross over the Bosphorus Bridge.

 

9 . If you are Turk, why you don’t wear a fez?

So, If you are Japanese, why you don’t wear kimono? Why! Why! Why! The faz is just hat and they belong to last period of Ottoman Empire,and we are living in Turkey. Plus if you want to know, the orign of Fez comes from Greek.

 

10 . You’re blond, Are you really Turkish?

Oh my eyes! Oh my eyes! How can it be? You’re blond and you’re living in Turkey. That is not possible.. Actually the original Turks are not swathy, they are known as their white skin. And ofcourse we have blond men or women….

 

11 .  Can you marry with 4 Vomen in Turkey?
