1 . Istanbul was established in 630 B.C by Magarian. First settlement of the city is Sarayburnu. The Magarians migrated from Greek to Istanbul city. The city has been capital of Roma in A.D 330. The Roman Emperor Constantine gave a name to the city. This name was Constantinople. Before the this the city was called “Calcedeon.” In the Roman period also the city was called “The city wşth its seven hills.”

2 .  At the conquest of Istanbul, Ottoman Navy was walked from Dolmabahçe to Kasımpaşa by Ottoman Army. For this, A lot of fat pile was used and the operation was successful.
