This small and charming village on the Black Sea coast is famous for its sandy beaches stracting as far as the eye can see. The roads running trough the Belgrade Forest and from Sariyer, joins just before reaching Kilyos. The forest road passes alongside aqueducts and reservoirs. The village is 25km/ 17 miles from the city center, some hotels, pensions, restaurants serve visitors during the summer months.
This is a lovely resort town on the Anatolian side of Black Sea coast, 50km/35 miles from Usküdar. A motorway through the forest reaches the famous extensive beaches of Şile. The small fishermen’s harbor, the ruins of Geneose fortress and the famous lighthouse are worth seeing. To the weest of the town the beaches extend uninterrupted, and to the east three are many small, sandy bays. The summer months are quite lively crowded. All class hotels and pensions are available.
Two winding roads, shorter by the shore 25km/17 miles to the east of Şile crosses forests and valleys to this unique and beautiful summer resort Agva , that situates behind a long sandy beach, bordered by two green rivers. West river shores are decorated with colorful boutique hotels, restautrants and some cafes. This river has a narrow oepning to the sea. Small river boats tours up and down in the lush green river. Town has some nice hotels and pansions. Other, The Agva river, has a wide, easy entrance by the sea. This gives a shelter and docking for the fishing boats right at the center of town, this river is also a nice touring destination by a boat.
